I've been wanting to try Dave's Hot Chicken ever since I read their origin story -- starting this whole empire with under a thousand dollars and somehow turning it into a billion-dollar juggernaut. Meanwhile I can't even get out of Target without spending more than that. So yes, I needed to meet the chicken behind the legend. When the Coral Springs location opened, I showed up ready. Even though the takeout order was wrong , still 5 stars. The chicken sliders were absolutely delicious. The fries were also crip and tasty. I will give them a break on messing up the order as the place was swamped , young new employees. The store was clean and even though it was BUSY , the wait was not long. It was clean , but you go for the chicken not the atmosphere. Will go back for sure.

My review is a 2 because the food itself is good and the staff is excellent.. Ownership? SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES 1) They are maybe 75-80% of the portion size of california Dave's restaurants yet they charge MORE than any other I have ever seen ($5 for a single tender!) 2) They forced the strip mall they are located in to evict multiple small businesses they (as a staff member literally told me to my face) "don't want to see the unruly clientele of" .... Not only are the prices ridiculous.. $10 for a small chicken sandwich with fries, no drink included. The food is horrible, fries are decent. Even the mac and cheese was funky tasting. My friend and I couldn't even finish our meals, it was unbearable. The service was great but that doesn't change the fact that the food is nasty. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. Dave. Please go back to LA, Florida doesn't need you or your nasty chicken here. Respectfully.
