This was my first visit with Dr. Amsterdam to ascertain my need for cataract surgery. He examined my eyes and my paper trail and concluded that surgery wasn’t necessary at this time. I trust his judgment because as he offered his professional opinion, he took time to listen to my concerns. When surgery becomes necessary, Dr. Amsterdam will be my surgeon. He’s a gifted young man, and I trust my vision with his expertise and experience.
Dr. Amsterdam was courteous and proessional. Best of all, my cataract surgery went smoothly and without complication.
I have been a patient of Dr. Amsterdam for several years now and highly recommend him. He embodies everything one could want in a fine, caring physician . I trust him and have every confidence in his expertise. My husband is also his patient and has the same feeling about his competence.
I went in with blurry vision and they did a thorough examination and diagnosed with a cataract. The Dr explained the options for surgery and said a scheduler would be contacting me.
My first visit went so well. Both Dr. Amsterdam and his assistant Bridgett were caring, professional and pleasant during the visit. Dr. explained my condition thoroughly in easily understood terms. Will definite be back next year for my annual exam.
Terrific service from everyone. They moved heaven & earth to get me in with an emergency. The COVID protocols were excellent.

I appreciated the changes the office has made sure to the Covid19 virus. From the entry to the waiting area to the exam room, precautions were made that made me very comfortable. I really like Dr Amsterdam and feel confident in his skills as my eye doctor.
I've been going to Dr. Amsterdam for years and he is always thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him, especially if you have other health conditions that affect your eyes.
