Dr. Amsterdam has been my ophthalmologist for many years and I highly recommend him! He is thorough and caring, explains in detail and always has time to answer questions and concerns. I trust him completely.
I have had several incidents of blood behind my eye. He requested records from Primary Drs. And requested that they test me for diabetes. He follows through on everything. He remembers me and I am sure has reviewed my records before each visit. Never after entering the room. Knows why he requested me to come back in six months and relieved as I was that things were better and I could wait for a year before coming back.
I am very pleased with my eye care from Dr. Amsterdam. His examination was thorough and his advise was reassuring
I was formerly a patient of Dr. Jefferson upon his retirement I was asked to select a new ophthalmologist. With only 2 visits under my belt, I’m very pleased with Dr. Amsterdam. He listens to my concerns, explains the results of my eye exam/tests as to how it my affect my eye sight as I age.
Dr. Amsterdam listened to my concerns and provided knowledgeable answers. Didn't feel rushed. Dr. Amsterdam and all the other staff were polite and professional.
