Dr. Fontenot has been my PCP for over 20 yrs. He is caring, professional and bright. He goes beyond what is needed to care for his patients. Dr. Fontenot is thorough, kind, patient, takes time to listen to his patients and in turn discuss your care. You don't ever feel rushed. His nurse Audrey is also professional & caring! Dr. Fontenot is one of the best IM's of the BRC! He cares about his patients and doesn't treat people like a number or $$. He is GREAT--proud to call him my doctor!
I would definitely recommend Dr. Fontenot. He is very thorough and I had good results by following his recommendations. I feel comfortable with him as my physician.

I have been one of dr.fontenot patients for many yrs.I started seeing him because my mother in law was using him and from the very first appointment I adored him and his entire staff.Some of the other family members also see him and feel the same way.I believe that your regular doctor should always be able to work you in when you are sick or have any other issues and I have always been able to call and get in the same day if not the following which to me is one of the most important things for your regular doctor.Everyone pu... read more

Dr. Fontenot is the best! He takes such great care of my 92 year old mom! Always so thorough!
He was extremely thorough and took a lot of time with me as I was a new patient. He even called me himself on Saturday afternoon to go over my lab results. Who does this!!!! My only drawback was that it took a long time to get an appointment since I was a new patient. It was worth the wait.
Excellent experience. Smart, sharp, concerned and very caring Doctor.
