Everyone is very nice, but we often felt out of the loop. It was a little frustrating not knowing how much cash we needed to close on our home until 30 minutes before closing.

Based on my experience working with other lenders, I’d like to see Atlantic Bay have a client portal for secure document exchange. For this loan, I sent documents through a link (provided via email) to a shared folder, but I didn’t find that to be secure (no password to access). The loan processor sent me a secure email (zix?) which was secure. However, that was not until later when I had already sent most of my documentation.
