Well upon seeing the reviews for this location I still stumbled here. I was greeted by John and well he was amazing. Ron and John are both funny and helpful. They both made me feel comfortable and managed to get me into a unit within minutes. Great guys and are a pleasure to chat with. If it wasn't for these 2 I honestly wouldn't have gotten a unit. So far so good! I'm planning a huge move soon and we're in need of a large storage unit. I called at least 4 mini storages before finally reaching a sweet lady named Cheryl. I had 100 questions and she sat on the line and shot me straight, excellent to work with.
I really enjoy the staff at this Derrel's. I heard they are retiring and will no longer work here. They have always been very helpful and assisted us with all our storage needs. They were very honest and made sure we had the right unit. They will definitely be missed.
We bought a storage unit from an online auction and when we went to pick it up we noticed fresh shadow lines in the tool chest. Do not buy storage units from them through online auction. We feel robbed and have no idea how much was taken. They do go through them before you get them. Very shady husband and wife employees

Don't let the ugly fountains fool you. The service is spotty and most of the staff are rude and make no attempt to hide the contempt for you. The do not let you rent a unit without a lock. So you end up buying one from them for twelve dollars and it is the cheapest lock on the market. Paying them is always a chore and of it's a late payment you have to have cash. I rented there for 8 months. All I did was pay my bill monthly. Once my home was finished, I got a smaller storage unit and that's where the troubles came... I'll stem it from the owners/managers. They failed to hire competent employees who can communicate with people, rather than argue. Just because you're behind the desk, doesn't mean that you're always right. I am giving this place a 2 ONLY because the couple that rented me my storage unit was so nice and helpful. But unfortunately they are only the relief managers. The manager that is there the majority of the time, Cheryl, is a very unpleasant person. My friend and I both have units here.
