They don't allow you to have your phone during detox. It was hard to not have it but much needed. They require you to go to group everyday during detox but I learned tools that will help me when I leave here.
I tried detoxing from home many times and to get sober on my own it never worked. Desert Hope did a great job of making me feel safe and comfortable when I arrived. James Y is a great TA and is a blessing to all the patients.
Better food than I expected . A lot of group therapy but you learn from the groups if you participate. Dave runs a great group
