Desert Hope has changed my life. When I arrived I was broken and did not want to be here. I struggled with the rules and group classes. Somewhere along the way I started to realize that I needed to be here. If you are struggling and willing to be open to change Desert Hope is the place to come.
They take your phone the first little bit you are here but then you get it back if you follow rules. It was so nice to be able to work on myself without that distraction.
They have a small store in the rehab that has snacks, candy, and things you may have forgotten or need. They even have vapes!
I spent a lot of time speaking with my case manager to help me figure out how to get back on my feet after rehab. It was so helpful.
I was the sickest I have ever been while here and the nurses helped me so much.
