Facility needs a bit of updating with the amenities and carpets, but the treatment really helped me in the long run maintain my sobriety
Really good food here! Alot of people say too much chicken lol but I am happy !! They even offer ice cream and a fountain soda machine. There is also a store here you can place money on an account to purchase things. The nursing staff are the best
I came to Desert Hope totally broken and they helped put me back together. It took a long time and a lot of work after I left, but the tools they gave me really helped me maintain my sobriety. Only drawback is I gained a lot of weight because they don't have a huge option of healthy foods, but it was so good!
This is my 2nd time to Desert Hope. The last time was in the middle of COVID. I am glad to see they have updated their protocols. No more 72 hour quarantine upon admission. They rapid test you and you onw in 2o minutes if you are negative or not
I recommend Desert Hope to anyone struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. I have learned about the disease of addiction and my anxiety and depression. I am thankful to Dr. Howell for really helping me understand. She is kind and patient and answers all my questions. There needs to be more doctors like her.
Desert Hope changed my life. Jenna, Alexis, Deon helped me learn alot about myself and what the underlying root cause to my addiction is. I was able to open up in a safe environment and for once work on myslef without fear of being laughed at or judged by my peers. Thank you
I like that there are alot of recreational activities available to me during the evening .
I have been desert hope a few times and they always welcome me back with open arms. They never make me feel less than or like I do not deserve to be here. They always encourage me to find what I am missing from my recovery and build on that.
I don't even know where to begin. Thank you a thousand times to the staff. You all are so caring and knowledgeable. The techs take the time to walk with you , play basketball with you and share their experience strength and hope.
