They raise rates every 6 months or so with no WARNINIG {you do get a 30 day notice} at the time you sign the contract contract. The longer you are there the more you will pay. They have no problem actioning off your stuff ASAP so they can get another victim in quick. Devon Storage keeps charging me for insurance that I did not agree to purchase, after I have shown them proof that my home insurance covers the items in storage at their facility. I ask them to remove the charge, and within a month or 2, I get charged for insurance again. This fall, they ignored all of my attempts to contact them to have the fraudulent insurance charges removed, so the charges accrued for months. I rented this unit from the previous owner of this property. I was never informed that Devon bought the property. They sent an email informing customers of the change, which I never received. My original account was set on Automatic Payment and was withdrawn from my account every month. I never even thought about the payment, as I knew it was taken care of. To my surprise, I received a letter in the mail from Devon (the first correspondence I ever got from them) stating that I was 2 months behind in my payments. They charged... read more
They keep adding additional fees to my storage unit! Seems like every other month, they're going up on my storage unit, late fee amounts and insurance as well. And if they have to add a LEIN FEE, then you have to decide if its worth it to try to keep your items by coming up with ALL the mone or just let them have it. Do not rent with them because you will go broke just trying to keep your items in their care.And the terrible thing too is THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU BEING THEIR CUSTOMER!!!

As someone who was a customer and former employee of ********************, LLC, I strongly encourage anyone to beware and seek and thoroughly research other storage facilities to accommodate their needs. My experiences were not pleasant nor shall I repeat those experiences in the future. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this storage facility due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of the employees. From the moment I walked in, it was clear they had no interest in providing good customer service.
