What a wonderful experience I had last week when cataract surgery was performed on both my eyes (separate dates). Each time at each location the Discover Vision staff were simply outstanding, providing superior customer service. Dr. Doane exhibits qualities not often found in all physicians - a unique combination of superb technical skill along with a very approachable, kind demeanor. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful physician and his staff to anyone considering this life-changing procedure.

Dr. Jefferson is very thorough and professional. He seems knowledgeable about vision loss, as well as other medical conditions that can affect vision. Monitoring vision needs.

I visited your office in recently to have my eyes evaluated after an incident where I was seeing ribbons of flashing lights in my left eye. I saw Dr McKay and after a thorough evaluation he informed me that my eyes were ok. He then recommended that I see my doctor to be evaluated as this symptom could also be an indication of stroke. He was very insistent and even followed up with me by phone after I left the office. I followed up with my doctor and am being monitored by him. Thank you Dr McKay for that level of concern.

I had LASIK by Dr. Doane about 4 months ago, and I could see clearly the second I stood up from the surgery table! Lasik was the best decision I have ever made, I can't believe I waited so long to do it!! the staff is amazing too!

I had LASIK here Jan 9th 2015, I can not be more pleased not only can i now see perfectly but the whole group of doctors and workers made me feel welcome and comfortable. Never had to wait longer than a few minutes to get called to go back for eye exams. I would highly recommend Discover!

Happy New Year 2015 everyone! I wish to give a big shout out to Doctors Doane, Lile, and Eudaly at the Leawood Kansas Discover Vision Center...I was recommended to try out Dr. Doane and see what he and his colleagues thought about my chances to successfully undergo LASIK surgery and have new eyes! So in September 2014, I visited with all three, and through a thorough opthalmologic exam, a process of elimination with a test tryout of both eyes corrected for distance, or usage of one eye for distance and the other for closeup, and despite my astigmatism and very poor eyesight, the procedure was quick, painless, and very successful. The doctors all had wonderful personalities and bedside manners, were experts in analysis and explanation of the all of the details of the preop, procedural and postop process and reasoning. Dr. Doane is a nationally successful eye surgeon and I hope that you will take a leap of faith like I did, and try him out so you can know whether you are a potentially 100% candidate for new eyes!!!! These gentlemen know their stuff!!! The staff there all throughout the offices are skilled, professional and amazingly patient and enthusiastic as you journey along through the process. Discover Vision has a beautiful office in Leawood, Kansas that is staffed by some of the friendliest people I have every met. The other great thing about Discover is that their appointments almost always run on time and if not on time maybe a 5 minute wait. It's really nice that a doctor's office respects your time! I had Lasik surgery here 7 years ago and they have been my eye doctor ever since. If you need an eye doctor, you can't go wrong with any of the doctors at Discover Vision. Annual Eye Checkup
