a horrible place to work, unskilled dog handlers in high positions. no regards for dog safety and dog well being. all about profit and lying to the customers. as an ex employee of this location please do not take your dog here.
I am completely disgusted at the experience I just had with them. They stuck me with a $300 bill for a week which is reasonable in price if they would have done a decent job. They left my dog soaked and covered in urine when I picked him up. I thought he was playing in the water until he got in my vehicle and wreaked of pee. His fur was covered in knots which the groomer is dealing with now. They have to shave him down to nearly bald now because of the knots in fur. I feel so bad for the poor guy. Disappointing and frustrating to have a groomer at a place where I’ve been a customer for years leave the shop altogether because I was literally 8 minutes behind schedule - especially when the appointment was for “somewhere around” the set time. I live minutes away & should’ve at least been called if it was important for my dog to be brought in at a set time. The girls at the desk offered to reschedule him but does that sound like a good idea?
I will never go there again. Terrible service and my dog was still wet when i picked her up even though they called me and said she was ready.
This is my first time using Doggie District on Grand Canyon and IT WILL BE MY LAST TIME! Upon receiving my dog, I questioned the filth on his fur. I was told by the pet handler that he must have gotten excited and knocked over his water. After returning home, I got a better look at this “water”. It was URINE. My dog was COVERED in urine. His fur was crunchy from the amount of urine that saturated his fur. After giving him a thorough bath, I called the Grand Canyon location and spoke with a customer service rep.
