About this business

About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. The first parcels of the property were acquired in 199... read more

My husband and I took our two sons here yesterday... we rented bikes and carriers to pull our boys in... It was well worth the money! We had a fantastic day and the place is just gorgeous! You can tell they work hard to keep the place looking fantastic! So many gorgeous waterfalls and springs! We also thought it was neat that we were able to bike from Missouri across the Arkansas border! I was blown away at how beautiful it was! My husband and I visited today for our Anniversary. It’s $10 per person to get in and another $10 per person to walk the self guided trail. The trails had a few construction areas and there was a lot of hydro seed sprayed, but even so it was beautiful and we had a great time. We also had lunch on the patio. Lunch was excellent as was our service. We will be back to try some of the other activities.

It does cost but I felt well worth it!! I know it takes a lot of money to keep it up and going and pay their workers! I wish parks & the Conservative dept. & Dept of Natural Resources would learn something from those who brought this beauty to our state!
