About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. This is amazing place so peaceful and so beautiful
Hidden treasure, Beautiful place to visit. We took the tram tour and really enjoyed it. We will be back!
But what ever happen to the tee pee that was one of my FAVORITE things to see! Hopeful you will be replacing it SOON.... but love all the new stuff , was just there yesterday ...
This place is amazing. It's a cool drink of water for the soul. Absolutely love the new mill and restaurant!!!!!
We rode our motorcycles out there. Beautiful place and we took the tram. It was great. The guide was awesome and we made several stops to take pictures. We got to see the bison, long horn steer and the elk. Most of the deer were hiding. Beautiful place. Restaurant priced high but had bison, elk and some difference choices of foods to eat. We didn't eat there but would if we go back. Worth the money and stop.
Overall it was a good experience, was on a day date with my husband. We will have fun no matter what we are doing. Thought it was a bit ridiculous to charge $10 to get into the park per person and then another $10/$15 dollars to walk the trails or rent a bike (per person). You should only have to pay to do the activities, but to just walk is ridiculous. It is a beautiful peaceful place inside and out. We had fun with the bike rentals which I thought was a fair price. It would be perfect if they would lower admission prices.
Great place to visit, we did the bike ride. It was very enjoyable, lots of waterfalls. Little on the expensive side but worth every penny! Fun for all the family!
