This is one of my favorite places to visit. Me and my sister just got back, and in about a week me and my husband are going down. It is so relaxing, beautiful, and full of nature. I love that everywhere you turn there is something to see. Waterfalls, streams, the bridge, everything is just amazing. It's fun to see the work they are doing on the mill, and of course the tree house masters are building the huge tree house. If you get the chance get down there and plan on spending the whole day down there.
Couldn't possibly say enough good things about Dogwood. The sign as you enter the park says "Welcome to Paradise". No truer words were ever written! I had never rode a horse until visiting here. It was such an amazing experience. The guides were absolutely wonderful. I told them I had never rode and I was nervous. They stayed right with me and gifted me with peace and an amazing memory! Dogwood is absolutely AMAZING. Heaven on Earth!!!!! If you are thinking about going....think no more.....JUST DO IT!!!! :)
Audley and I spent my birthday there. We had the best time ever. When we we're on the tram tour it stared to rain...it was a thunderstorm. You can hear the thunder and see lightning...it was awesome so beautiful. Kinda romantic in a way. That night when we got home he proposed.
