Body shaping going well., dr. gave options and we decided together how to proceed for best outcome. no guarantees but initial outcome is exceeding expectations. Surgery was on schedule and recovery moving along as planned, so expect about a month of down time from activities, but you will be up and about day after surgery. needed no pain medication, just some soreness.
Just a quick update..since I never followed up after the difficulties I had a few mts post op. Nearly all of the problems I had resolved. I still have a small area with numbness on my left breast, but aside from that they are great! My scars are barely noticeable and both implants have dropped and settled nicely. Dr. Adam Oppenheimer performed a "smart liposuction" procedure on my back, flanks, waist, hips, outer thighs, upper thighs and buttocks. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery. Dr. Oppenheimer is a gifted surgeon and a pleasure to work with. He listened to my concerns, explained what he could do and his "bed side manner" was warm and caring. Like many who have posted before, I wish I had done this sooner. I feel like a different person. It is so different to not wake up to daily neck, shoulder and back pain. I am six weeks post op and am buying new clothes and loving it. People tell me how much thinner I look despite not having lost any weight other than the breast weight. I filled all of my scripts before the surgery but did not feel comfortable taking narcotics so only took Extra Strength Tylenol after. Thought about this for 25 years, but work and life got in the way. Consulted with several doctors in the last few years, but no one clicked....till Dr. Oppenheimer. Price includes breast implants and smart lipo of upper and lower abdomen, nerve block, surgery center, anesthesia, and lots of pre and post-op interaction. Not quite a week since surgery. Very happy with results. Next to no pain after surgery and lipo. Very little bruising. Great investment in myself! Couldn't be happier!
Over the past 30 years I have had multiple abdominal surgeries and have gained and lost a large amount of weight. I have been very uncomfortable with my body. I recently had a breast augmentation performed by Dr. Oppenheimer. I was a bit nervous going into the consultation but when Dr. Oppenheimer educated me on the procedure I was at ease, he was very informative. I went to several consultations the past couple of months with other surgeons prior to his and decided to go with him for many reasons and so thankful and happy I did. I was referred to Dr. Oppenheimer through the Breast Friends of Florida. I had been working with one surgeon since 2010 and when I met Dr. Oppenheimer, I felt very comfortable, like I had know him for a while. He was very open to what I wanted and willing to do what it took. He said the results I had were good, but he could make them better. I was ready to look better. I saw him for a consultation in November and had the surgery in February. That was great timing.
Dr. O was amazing. I had a fantastic experience. He was a very thorough and caring doctor with a great bedside manner. I have an allergy to opiates and he accommodated me by using a nerve blocker (exparel pain management) during surgery with no rx pain medication. I had very minimal pain after my procedure. I only used extra strength Tylenol for 3 days following surgery. This was so much easier than I ever thought possible. He did a great job and I am extremely happy. I would highly recommend him.
