I was there for TMJ lavage. It could have been a scary experience since I've never had a 'procedure' (except dental extractions and colonoscopy) but Dr. Slavin and his staff were so caring, kind and friendly so this ordeal turned out to be very comfortable and peaceful. I recently had a dental implant by Dr. Slavin and my entire experience was so positive and reassuring by Dr. Slavin and his entire staff. Wonderful staff and experience! After being intubated for 11 days in ICU my temporomandibular disc was displaced causing pain which increased when I opened my mouth. Also, my range of motion was limited. I met with Dr. Slavin for a consult. He confirmed the above diagnosis and recommended I come back to see him in a few weeks after I relax the muscle by maintaining a soft diet, taking anti-inflammatory medication and to use heating pads. I love Dr. Slavin and his staff. My daughter has had two surgeries with him and he is so gentle with her and his staff is just as amazing. Highly recommend him!!!!
