We think she took care of our issues very professionally. Anyway we could have babies with her help without going through difficult procedures. We believe she deserves a much better rating.
I have had a very different experience from others. I have found Dr. Anania extremely knowledgable, dedicated, and sensitive to her patients needs- during an especially sensitive time in a couples life. I am extremely grateful to have Dr. Anania as my physician and will look back on these experiences with positive memories pertaining to my medical care.
Save yourself the misery and find someone else. I'm not expecting hand holding throughout the IVF process. But the least I could expect is to have a doctor who actually has emotional intelligence. It doesn't take much to be considerate!
I would never recommend anyone to even have a consult with this doctor let alone I can only imagine what the experience would have been had we choose to use her as our IVF doctor. Her demeanor was very cold and her personality was extremely rude and ridged. She’s only in it for the money which was clear by her evil smile she made when money came up. Her bedside manner was cold and insensitive. She struck me as flippant and almost amused that my ovaries weren't responding well to stimulation. It seemed she didn't get how painful the whole process has been for me. Maybe she should be a general practitioner. Really.
I also found Dr Anania to be cold and uncaring and not very knowledgeable.It seemed to me that she was just in it for the money and not to give me the best chances of having a baby. I think the nurses were great and part of the reason I kept giving her the benifit of the doubt.She never did one procedure on me I found that to be strange. I have switched doctors and I am so much happier now with the care that I'm receiving. I would never recommend her to anyone.
It's not the doctors knowledge I questioned. It was the total lack of respect and dignity she provided me. She was downright insulting in the way she approached me. If she could work on her bedside manner she would be a much more respected doctor. I don't expect to be "babied" by my doctors but I do expect an ounce of respect.
I found Dr. Anania to be helpful to a point. She is very cold and shows little compassion during such a difficult time. Ultrasound and blood lab had the nicest people. Not all but some of the nurses are nice. The nurses that call back a lot of times don't give the proper information. I would not recommend Reproductive Science Center as a first choice. I have to agree with the first ratings. After my intital testing and one IUI I changed to another program and found the care much more thorough and my new RE much more sesitive and informed.
