Our family was visiting from NY when our 15 yr old son had a seizure, ( his first ever )and fell to the concrete floor fracturing his skull. While in the Delray TICU, we were introduced to Dr. Baquero who would be carrying for his neurological issues. After an EEG, he was diagnosed with partial epilepsy. I would not recommend anyone to Dr. Baquero. He is very nice. His nice manners cover the lack of care, the excuses he makes, the poor communication between him and his staff, and medical records that are incomplete, full of errors, and ultimately, “lost”. Go elsewhere if your child has epilepsy. Read about it and learn on your own so you can be your child’s advocate. Don’t be fooled by the niceness.
Misdiagnosed my daughter left her in a coma (I thought she was just sleeping) Dr. Baquero never had her in ICU, nor was she hooked up to Life Support, TOTALLY NEGLIGENT!
