Very thorough examination. Took action to remedy problem, Explained in detail skin condition issues and explained preventive measures to take to prevent or limit reoccurence. Excellent visit
Fantastic Dr. and friendly staff. My mother and I visited Dr. Donnelly today and he was very friendly and incredibly thorough. I highly recommend him.
My daughters and I have been seeing Dr. Donnelly for several years. He's treated acne, warts, skin tags, keratoses, pre-cancerous lesions. I've never had a problem getting him to explain whatever issue we're dealing with or treatment options. He's busy and he doesn't waste time, but I've never felt he didn't listen to me.
Very bright and knowledgeable.
Appeared irritated that we had questions and was unwilling to give any feedback, education, direction on appropriate skin care routine for this teens visit. Recommendation to take oral antibiotic was declined by teen bc he didn't feel doctor cared or listened--he just walked in and told him to take a pillindefinitely. He didn't ask him a single question about his current routine, what has helped or been less tolerated in the past. So different than our experience with Dr. in same practice who asked about concerns, current sk... read more
Tried to make an appointment with my usual derm but was assigned to Donnelly. I have a strong history of skin cancers. I was concerned about a suspicious spot on my nose. He blew me off, sprayed it with liquid nitrogen & told me to come back in two months if it didn’t go away. Two months later & same thing. No treatment. Basically blew me off again. Now two months later again, I made an appointment with a different practice & immediately the spot on my face was biopsied. Now I am facing a rare aggressive form of skin cancer ... read more
Went in for a suspected basal cell carcinoma(Dr. Bell, who I normally see, was unavailable). He abruptly entered the room and interrupted me too many times to count - that didn't bother me too much as I was thinking he had other patients to see and didn't want alot of 'chit-chat' - however his 'bed-side manner' was less than ideal. Moving forward, I required a biopsy, got scheduled, but had to cancel due to work, was rescheduled. Had to cancel the next appointment due to work. Recently, when I attempted to get my appointment... read more
I had an appointment recently with Dr. Donnelly and it was the worst experience I've ever had with a physician. He constantly cuts off your sentences, is very condescending, did not answer any of my questions, and basically did not want to do his job. I literally thought I was being punked. I now have to start the process all over again with what I would call a real dermatologist. I felt this person should not be in his position anymore. He had no interest in anything that was going on in that exam room which included addres... read more
Dr. Donnelly may be fine but his office is not. Requested an appointment online with several day options between 8-10. Got an appointment for 11:15 but decided to make it work anyway. Wasted my whole day for this appointment just to get to the office and find a note on the door saying they closed for the day. They had my phone number and my email address and yet no one could let me know this. Not happy with St. Luke's.
