10/10 Experience with Dr. Mesa Had a great experience with Dr. Mesa! He was super attentive during the consultation and answered all the questions I had. His office is also very clean with organized and helpful staff so you feel comfortable when going through the procedure itself. The execution of the actual procedure proved to be 10/10 as well with amazing results - super happy I chose to go with Dr. Mesa and his team for this procedure.
The incisions have healed nicely I had gynecomastia survey with Dr. Mesa back in December. Right after the initial consultation I knew he was the one I wanted to go with. Very knowledgeable and gave me a detailed list of what to expect before and after. The incisions have healed nicely and the results are night and day. Highly recommend !

Great doctor - I'm happy I did it Great doctor. There is a reason if you search Buccal fat removal everywhere you'll be led to this doctor. He knows his stuff and specializes in it. I looked at 20 different doctors on RealSelf, and had a ton of questions from swelling, gaunt, risks, recovery, etc. Mesa answers all of them thoroughly and the day of procedure was a breeze. 2 days post-op- So far so good! I'm surprised at how easy recovery has been so far and how little swelling I have. It's too early to tell what kind of outcome I'll have but the swelling is so slight that I almost look back to my regular face shape. I drank A LOT of Gatorade and Dr. Mesa said I was super hydrated so the fat slipped right out. This made the surgery easier and less prone to trauma which is evident in the recovery so far. I'm so happy I went with Dr. Mesa I went to a few surgeons for consultations before Dr. Mesa, and I'm so happy I went with him. I was unhappy with my side profile and he suggested chin lipo. My results are amazing and I feel much more confident. I was nervous for the surgery but Dr. Mesa talked me through the entire process and made me very calm. I will be back for other procedures!
Exceeded my Expectations I'm writing this review right after my procedure. So far it was good, I was very nervous during the procedure but it was pain-free(that's alot to say cause I have a low pain tolerance). There is a tugging sensation I felt very uncomfortable with, along with the taste and smell of my cheek fat being burned off.
