I have worked in the medical field for 30 years. I can recognize a great doctor and his team. I felt safe before and after my procedures. Thank you so much Doctor Shelby!
The people are so nice in the office and the nurses so helpful. But the Doctor is the best. He has a great bedside manner and is very sweet.
VERY KIND , PROFESSIONAL AND PROFICIENT.
Professional and yet very nice people
I was in the hospital recently at San Ramon Regional, due to pneumonia. After they conducted blood tests, I was found to have low red blood cell count dude to internal bleeding. So, in comes Dr. Shelby! He reassured me that he would discover what he thought were bleeding ulcers. Next day he did an endoscopy and colostomy on me, and found several esophageal ulcers. He even gave us a copy of the picture of the ulcers from the endoscopy. His attending nurses were first rate, too! I subsequently saw Dr. Shelby yesterday, and he ... read more
New patient of Dr. Shelby. Totally ecstatic about the treatment I received. Very attentive to my condition. Performed an upper endoscopy with dilation. Entire staff was very efficient. No after effects from the anesthesia, and felt great afterwards. I am very satisfied with his care.
Awesome staff! Been going here since before my surgery and everyone continues to be nice and efficient. Even my rx refills are fast and never have any delay or problems. I hope I don't ever have to change doctors because I totally love everyone there.
I just had my colonoscopy from Dr. Shelby. Going into the procedure I had anxiety. The staff was kinda and warm. The team really helped me relax. From the young lady at the front desk, to the nurse that set me up, to the anesthesiologist, to the procedure with Dr. Shelby and then the nurse post procedure. The experience was way better than what I had personally envisioned.
I was REALLY surprised to read all of the negative comments about Dr. Shelby! I met him last weekend when I was hospitalized with an elevated bilirubin count. He was the GI doctor on call at San Ramona Regional and I felt EXTREMELY lucky that he was there for me! He is very well educated but also has a great bedside manner. I have a really difficulty case and he took the time to answer all of the questions my husband and I had. I am planning on switching from my GI doctor at California Pacific to Dr. Shelby because I was so ... read more
