I don’t even know where to begin! I now realize after living in my home for 28 years what I’ve been missing by not having a foam roof. Absolute comfort! Before on a 90° day my interior always was 90 to 100° easy. Now it maintains around 76 to 78° constant. With just a small through the wall air conditioner it now cools my entire house. One of the few products in my lifetime that actually does what it says it does!
Great. It took 6- months to implement from start to finish, longer than expected, mostly due to PG&E and a bit to do with subcontractors. So don't expect you can do this overnight especially when you're also replacing your entire roof and you have an older mid-century modern home without a 200AMP service panel ready to go. A fantastic company to work with! My neighbor who has a 20+ year-old Dura-Foam roof and solar panels recomended I call after my old tar and gravel roof started leaking. The roof crew was very courteous and took care to cover patio furniture and things around the house. My home stays much cooler now on warm sunny days. I sprayed some water to test roof areas which were originally constrcted with no slope; drainage is much better now!
Dura-Foam installed a solar system for my mid-century modern Sunnyvale home. I get a kick out of watching my solar production on my iPhone app and the system is producing more than what was promised. Although the installation was delayed for a number of weeks due to frequent storms, things went quickly once they got startd. Overall, the experience with Dura-Foam was very good. My modern-style home in Redwood City has a flat roof. Foam roofing fixed some drainage problems where the old roof had somewhat of a duck pond. The new roof drains much beter now. Also, my heating bill last winter came down quite a bit as a result of the roof's insulation value. I contacted Dura-Foam Roofing & Solar Center to service my foam roof and they were able to come out the same day. The crew that came out were professional and explained to me in detail what was going on. My roof has been leak free ever since. In the future, I will be contacting them to install solar. I highly recommend using Dura-Foam Roofing & Solar Center!
Very impressed with their efficiency and follow-up. Before installation they did a very thorough analysis of our roof and gutters. Then in preparation for removing our tar and gravel on the roof the workers installed large plastic sheets hanging from our roof edge to protect our side patio and windows from dust and gravel. They came out and quoted a foam roof installation/overlay (we had a persistently leaky flat roof), and were able to come out less than a week later. The installation was astonishingly quick, and the finished work is very solid and professional.
