This is the second time we used Atlantic Mortgage in less than 2 years and both times we used Dwayne Tyndall and he always kept us up to date with what was needed and how things was progressing. Both times he made the process smoothly as did Jean who kept up with the under writers needed paperwork. Every time we sent a text or called he would response in a timely matter. I would most definitely recommend both Dwayne and Atlantic Mortgage.

The staff seemed very knowledgeable and capable. I think they are stretched too thin though. A couple of times we were asked for documentation they already had, or had to explain something several times. Overall a good experience, but a little confusion here and there. The amount of documentation required is discouraging. I was re-financing a first mortgage for about 65% of appraised value, with enough liquid assets to easily pay it off in cash, with a higher than normal credit rating.
