They were awesome!! I am new to the area and my dog was really sick. They made time for her and even performed surgery on her the same day!! I will be keeping them as my vet!
After going to a few other veterinarians in our area because they were close, we decided to go to an animal hospital in Bethpage, which was and still is awesome. But when Dr Ferber branched out and opened the sister hospital to that one in East Meadow, we went with him and Francine. I completely trust him and her with our two dogs and three cats. He's very very caring and always has the animals' best interests at heart. She will keep you updated if they have to stay and will call when they go home to make sure everything is ... read more
They are awesome, We take both our doggie and kitten there. They are knowledgeable and kind I can not say enough about the quality of care our pets have been given They truly care, not just about how they can make money - they care about what is best for the pets and the families
I would not take my pets any where else! Dr. Ferber and Francine treat you like family and take the time to explain and list your options. I will be forever grateful to them for being there for my family.
I rarely post reviews, but this is a special circumstance. My fiancé and I were driving out east for a 4th of july weekend with friends. We were about halfway there when our dog Teddy started to turn purple. It was clear we had an emergency on our hands. After stopping on the side of the road to try and calm Teddy down, we googled the nearest vet and sped there. We live in NJ and were unfamiliar with the area. Not only did Dr. Ferber and Francine save Teddy's life, but we believe he got the highest quality veterinary care - ... read more
Not that happy at all! I thought my dog had an ear infection. I went in with an appointment, the staff in the front were very nice. They put me in a room with my dog and a young doctor came in and said they were going to take the dog in the back and wash her ear and take a sample of what was in her ear to see what it was and I was not comfortable with her, leaving me and having something done not in front of me. I expressed my feelings, so they did everything in the room. The doctor only listen to the dogs chest, never looke... read more

Please view Bob L's other reviews to put this one in context. 22 reviews with 21 being one star along with scathing insults to the businesses. Normally I'd reply with a polite apology, explanation, and offer to resolve the situation, but you don't deserve that type of response. I will reply as a person that puts all my effort to building a great team and business that serves our community. With your review, one would think that maybe you'd have mentioned a complaint while you were here, and I'm confident that any concerns of... read more
I just saw the response to my previous ratings and review from the Vet. My biggest issue was not that there was no quick fix to help my Feline daughter, but the lack of communication and also not checking all her records. I can speak in a more calm and composed manner about this now but nobody more than Vets need to understand our love for our fur children and how crazy we get when something is wrong. My poor Amy was so traumatized by the non stop ER visits with a 20 min drive back and forth, that it traumatized ME! If I had... read more

To whom it may concern: You've stated so much that I'm not sure where to begin. It's been at least several months since you were seen here, and as I stated to you earlier, I am sorry you had such a negative experience with us. As you stated, your cat was very aggressive and could not be examined without sedation. The emergency practice needed to sedate her for an exam as well, so this was not a surprise to anyone. We are trained to handle aggressive animals, but there is no magic trick to do this. If a thorough exam and test... read more
