This was a birthday lunch for 2 discerning ladies! We visited on Weds 13th August 2025 We chose Edesia several months ago based on their menu on the website and the wide variety of food for all tastes and cravings. I’ll start by saying that the food was good - we had a starter, bread basket and shared one of the mains. The actual food is tasty and I’d give it a 7.5/10. The bread basket included for bread rolls and some butter - this was fine, all of the bread was warm etc. However the starter was expensive and I feel we didn’t really get £10 worth of food for it - we had the croquettes. All the staff were amazing. They didn't rush you but were always on hand if you needed them. The food was excellent- I don't think we left a crumb between us.

We really loved the food, it was quite delicious. We shared a seafood paella - it was generous & full of flavour. The desserts were original & very tasty. The service was adequate, if a bit disorganised, e.g we were asked for our drinks & then again our food order by several different waiting staff. However, despite this, we will definitely plan to go again.

Top Class food and service to match. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. I have a eat a strict diet due to having diabetes and the waiter happily asked the chef about items and was happy to swap a sauce for a more suitable one for me. Made me feel included and normal!! They made me and my friends feel relaxed and valued, we will defiantly be back.

We’re visiting Bath and came across Edesia by chance while looking for a fine dining experience - and it completely delivered. The food was outstanding with a beautiful variety of flavours, and every dish was presented with care. Portion sizes were spot on, the cocktails were great, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for quality cuisine in one of the best areas of Bath. A real gem.
