The flavors of the food were nice, though the wait times for both the main courses and desserts were excessively long, stretching to at least 30 minutes. The cocktails, unfortunately, were limited to basic mixers, and a Fig Syrup Old Fashioned didn't contain any fig syrup. In summary, while the dinner was generally enjoyable, the extended wait and pricing made it less than satisfactory.
Awful, went for my other in laws birthday, 2 hours after we’d arrived, we stil didn’t have our main. When we asked where our food was, it came out within 2 minutes and was cold. Steak was overcooked (and cold) our food had clearly been sat around for ages and forgotten. they did recook those who had ordered steaks from scratch (which meant half of us had to sit and watch the rest of the group eat). Eventually the steaks did arrive and they were average at best. No flavour aside from tasting burnt. We didn’t get any money off... read more
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, it would be fine if it was cheap but the prices don’t match the service and quality of what you get. We waited around 45 minutes for the steak and paid £85. The steak itself was mostly delicious but burnt on one side. We also ordered padron peppers prior which was partially burnt and not nearly salted enough. Lastly, not a big fan of the atmosphere especially if a culinary experience is what you are looking for.
I think if you are not a regular at this eatery don’t bother. Surly unhelpful waitress. We were sat at a table right in front of the door which was open more than closed and it’s December! 5m4 of us had chicken skewers - they were good. Half lobster - had to hunt for the ‘meat’ steak was good.
Service was extremely slow, almost waited an hour to be asked for our drinks order. The starters came out cold, the overall quality of the fish was poor and the prawns were overcooked.
We ordered steaks and both were served cold and sent back. Then 2 new steaks were delivered and these again were both served cold. As we were short of time because we were going to the theatre we had to eat them. Staff were apologetic but we could not understand why both steaks were served cold a second time. Considering the price this was very poor service and spoilt our afternoon.
Great ambiance, and great service but the restaurant food needs a lot of improvement. Cauliflower soup was £9 per a small bowl, and we ordered 3. We were a bit dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of flavor, the bowl was more than half empty and the toasted bread was stale. The grilled prawns had no flavor, and the prawns were overcooked and chewi. The Pollo mechado arepa had no avocado and the chicken had no flavor. The Grilled octopus was cold and it had no flavor. The spatchcock baby chicken was the only success of... read more
Dissapointed that we were told that we could have steak and cocktail deal Thursday when I booked table only to be told upon arrival that they had changed their mind… very poor
Croquets - tasted good but overload with the cheese Sea Bass Ceviche - had a bone in it which was a bit concerning Yucca Fries - quite yummy Steak - quite tough and could barely cut through it. Super chewy and did not taste well.
