I took my dog to get groomed by Marc on 3/21. Murph walked in perfectly fine and happy. When I picked my dog up from grooming, he was limping. When I got home, I noticed almost all his nails from his back paws were cut too short and oozing with blood. I took him back in the very next day, 3/22, where I was told what happened to him was completely normal. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! It seems like all this hospital cares about is overcharging and deceiving their customers. The front staff/ veterinarians are mostly very rude and lack compassion for animals and owners. I have had issues in the past with certain veterinarians at this practice adding charges to my bill for services that were not provided. Paying $30 for a nail trim on my small dog is ridiculous. Especially after paying thousands for surgery and teeth cleaning. I won’t be back. I’ll be going to another vet that gives just as good of care, but isn’t stupid expensive.
RecommendedSTAY AWAY! We recently took our 14 month English Labrador for her annual exam. She is incredibly anxious, and due to an ear infection (where I myself (the owner) had to obtain the swab) it was decided to sedate her for the ear cleaning procedure. Basically the Dr. who was scheduled over the weekend nearly killed our beloved pet. Been a long time customer here! Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Years ago I moved to the Brandon area and tried vets closer. None of them came close to the service my cats and I receive here. So, I drive about an hour just so my fur kids can see Dr. Danielson. The day test results come in, I get a call. And it is always a vet on the line so we can discuss the results. No other place I tried gives this level of service.
I would never recommend Ehrlich Animal Hospital to anyone with healthy pets. My husband took our 2 dogs here for a routine check up to get their heartworm and flea medications refilled. When making the appointment we were never told about price. We, unfortunately, assumed it would be similar to the price we paid at our old vet in Clearwater.
