I WOULD TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HEALTH SOUTH HERE IN ALTOONA...THEY HAVE LOVING AND CARING PEOPLE AND THEY THERAPY IS GREAT TOO THE PEOPLE THERE UNDERSTAND AND VERY HELPFULL. GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE AND ALL.OF THE WORKERS THERE ALWAYS..AND THANK YOU...CHARLENE SWISHER..

You are responsible for the loss of Yanni Prokos. Thanks to the nurses sheet I still have where you doubled one medication and tripled the other, his OD in there was no surprise. I had done everything I could with my concerns that he seemed over medicated. The officer that went over said he appeared to be over medicated. He passed due to his care after a 10 day stay. You aren’t fit to care for anyone on the spectrum. I hope the same exact care you gave him comes back around to your loved ones someday.

worst place ever Karissa a nurse denied me meds while I was having a panic attack she refused to wake up the doctor which resulted in me getting shipped to the psycho ward she called me a liar about not trying to pee on my own refused to straight Cath me had the dad of one of the nurses as a roommate he was given better care than me I was ignore the psych consler ingored my mental health needs Lisa the caseworker is the biggest joke of them all she's refusing to send me paperwork that I need there were bugs crawling around i... read more

Healthsouth is terrific. But I am extremely disappointed that when medicare coverage time is concluded, the patient can be rushed into a very substandard nursing home. The fault is mine. I should have done more research. I screwed up. I trusted the Healthsouth caseworker.
