I dont even know where to begin! This place is amazing! My mom was there for about 2 weeks and the type of treatment she received was great! Her doctor was amazing!! Her nurse viviana hisquierdo was super attentive and helpful!Her physical therapist Michael Calloway and Raven S WERE SIMPLY AMAZING!!! I needed in-patient rehabilitation after surgery and Encompass Downtown Houston was suggested by my doctor. I didn't expect much but boy was I surprised. It felt like I checked into a 4 star hotel. The staff was super friendly and the care given was top notch. One nurse tech (Luis) was incredible and knew what I needed before even asking. If I ever need rehab in the future I know where I want to be sent. Keep up the good work and the positive vibes you are giving patients their lives back. Ron Meecham

My husband was recently admitted here for rehab, and he was very nervous going into it. We didn't know what to expect--but this turned out to be the best facility we've ever experienced. Encompass Health truly lives out their values in a way you can see and feel every day. The entire team works together, and it shows. Mike, the CEO, is incredibly encouraging and present. He's a praying man who genuinely cares about patients and makes the effort to connect with them--often visiting daily when he's in Pearland. That kind of ... read more

My 90 year old mother was there (the Yellowstone location in Houston) for almost two weeks. Very nice, sunny, airy and clean. They took great care of her, and a special thanks to Dr. Scafidi and Dr. Shaw, both cardiologists, who sent her home with detailed instructions for us to follow. I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but she's home two days now and we're doing fine. They even just called to see if we needed anything or had any questions. Stephanie the case manager was literally perfect. She did everything I expected and in a timely manner. It was like the first time I've ever experienced good health care for my uncle in the past 3 years. She was great. And not even like oh her personality was "nice", I mean she actually does her job. Like perfectly.

Excellent care. Positive and encouraging PT OT. Brand new facility. Amazing meals. Could not have asked for better care. Pets allowed to visit their owner (with shot records) a bonus. Case workers and Drs and nurses and aides all very caring, patient and responsive.

Facility is nice and clean . When we first got there is it was great, there was one physical therapist that only worked on the weekends that was amazing. When it was time for discharge, we couldn't find our nurse anywhere and they were very disorganized. Felt like they were in such a rush for us to go without the things that was promised before discharge.
