With my significant needs following a fall, Encompass Health at 8074 S 1300 E, Sandy, proved the most satisfying medical experience of my life. This facility is the top drawer of the bureau!!! And, most importantly, the therapy worked!!! The staff of all disciplines were, to a person, extremely capable, helpful, thorough and kind. There is a terrific "depth of bench" at Encompass Health, which creates a problem in remembering, or even knowing the names of all those who served you. This is truly the best rehab facility. My daughter was in a car accident and had back surgery. She was transported to Encompass for rehab and the staff were incredible. She saw her doctor every day, meds were given at the appropriate time, occupational and physical therapists were fantastic! Thank you!

The staff took care of me like family. My Case Worker was the best; she encouraged me to see the strength I had in me to succeed! I really would not have made it without her. The PT and OT therapists were interested in seeing you get better, and took interest in you as as person....the walks not only made me stronger but gave us the opportunity to vent, smile, get encouraged, and discuss every thing. I never realized how important weighting my arms down and doing OT would be in my home life. They are training a new genera... read more

Encompass was a great surprise for me and my Mom ! So glad we came across it! Mom suffer a stroke a few months ago and this was our last stop before getting her home!! The staff was amazing even during dang Covid rules they made it possible for me to come and stay for the day!! She did amazing and got to come home stronger than ever!! Hooray for the amazing staff of nurses, therapists, cooks and house keeping!!! It's always nice to be around happy positive people when things are tough!! After having my leg amputated, I had to find a rehab hospital that would not only teach me how to walk without a leg, but be able to address the wound and take care of my medical needs as well. Paige and Karen from the wound team were awesome. They both know what they are doing, and took care of business with a smile on their face and had great personalities. I think Health South saved my husbands life. he broke his neck and hip and I have the surgeon and this facility to thank for my husbands hip recovery. We found out about the broken neck in a week but he said the nurses and staff was wonderful. Also the social aspect of his meals in the cafeteria was important for him. He sat with three other men and I believe TLC and the visits with his newly found friends were key to him coming home to me,

2010 I spent from October 6 to November 23 in health south with a syndrom that attacked my autoimmune called guillian berre , I was paralyzed, 100 % assisted and had to learn how to walk and talk all over again Laura Rivas was my physical therapist ,amongst others that helped me get back on my feet , dr mark rada was my doctor that not only was on top of his game but Also became a friend thx again gang for getting me walking , just a side note I skied in March 2011, L-EBY
