Shocking service at Hyundai Colchester booked in a diagnosis on a faulty headlight aim. Supply headlight fitting 1 hour labour simple enough. Head light adjuster faulty near side front tps sensor not working. Service department change quote to 2 to 3 hours labour to fit headlight even tho i fitted the new one in 10 minures. £300 to fit tps sensor. Franchise for the sale and servicing of Hyundai models. Tucked next to the a120 on the Harwich road. Parking not the easiest on busy day. Showroom is clean and well presented. Staff friendly and attentive. Managed to time my coffee offer at a point the machine was on self clean so requested a discount on the deposit which sadly they couldn't do. Relaxed, no pressure selling and a good understanding of our requirements in obtaining a new car. For the downside parking at the Colchester dealership is far from easy and needs improvement. I see this hell hole has a pretty decent score on here which I find shocking. But on closer inspection majority of the positive reviews are sales based, which makes a lot of sense. I've had a Hyundai IONIQ 5 for 4 years now and i love the car, it's genuinely excellent. However, the interactions I've had with Hyundai Service has been so bad that I will never even consider buying a Hyundai again.
