I began trusting Enid PetHospital in 1990 with Dr Shimanek overseeing the care of my dogs. He always took time to explain everything & listened attentively regardless of time!! Dr Reid has been caring for my older lab for 2yrs. He responds quickly & always follows up later with a phone call to make sure my dog is healthy & happy. This past week my lab saw Dr Jacobs. Such a great hospital. Their after hours service is always so helpful.
I have been taking my 8 dogs, Parrot & iguana here for at least 7 years. The staff are all excellent. They have helped me with annual well checks & vaccinations, emergency accidents & the hard job of taking animals through the difficult situations of aging. Dr Shimanek has helped me send many over the Rainbow Bridge with loving care. I have moved away but was anxious to come “home” for a visit & bring my Hobo in for a complete exam. During an emergency with my pup this weekend, Enid Pet Hospital provided prompt care and the doctor called within minutes. She was friendly and reassuring and make a difficult time way easier! 10/10 recommend!
We cannot thank the staff and doctors at Enid Pet Hospital enough! The night before New Years Eve our dog Lucy got a nasty cut on her lower leg. I called our usual vet here in town that morning and they were open but said they couldn’t see her and said I’d have to take her to Stillwater. So I started calling around and the awesome team here got my dog in, stitched her up, and stayed late so I could pick her up after 5. All of this on New Years Eve for a walk-in. Our little pup unfortunately got very sick due to what we know now was an intestinal blockage. I took him in to see Dr. Reid and he ended up having surgery and spent almost a week there. I got to bring him home today and it’s absolutely because Dr. Reid did everything he could for our sweet boy. The staff was so friendly every time I would call for an update (which was multiple times a day) and every time I went in to see him while he stayed there. We would absolutely recommend Enid Pet Hospital to anyone!
Tuula had an appointment today for all the annual exams and an exam for possible ear mites. Dr. Reid saw her right away and we were home within 45 minutes. They always take great care of her. Two thumbs up!
The staff and doctors at Enid Pet Hospital have always been friendly and great to work with. I have owned several dogs and they have been well taken care of at this facility. I would highly recommend this vet clinic and the doctors.
