Do not rent from enigma. They neglected to set up our garbage for 4+ months after purchasing our building from Katz. Garbage piled up and attracted animals after blowing all over the yard. It’s impossible to get in touch with them as a tenant. They have no customer facing office you can visit, and the only phone number provided goes to a call center where you can leave them a voicemail, but no way to talk to property management directly. Enigma Properties sent my security deposit to an address that I lived at YEARS ago even though I provided them with my current address. I even have proof that I provided them with my current address. I reached out to Enigma regarding this issue and they admitted to making a mistake. I now wont be getting my security deposit within 21 days of move out all because they messed up.

My ceiling was leaking so I called Enigma Properties and spoke with Eric. At that point my ceiling was leaking for 42 days and I was emphasizing this to Eric. His response was, “why don’t you say 42 again!?!?” That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Eric is extremely rude and unprofessional.

If I could give it 0 starts I would. Extremely disappointed with the management of this property. I have made multiple attempts to contact the property manager, but their voicemail is consistently full. In any urgent or serious situation, management is essentially unreachable and offers no support. My experience living at 2867 S. Kinnickinnic Ave has been overwhelmingly negative. The owner of Enigma Properties (Eric Higgins) is extremely rude and unprofessional.  I recommend avoiding Enigma if you are looking for an apartment.

Invasive and unprofessional. After years of failing to fix a major leak in my home, they suddenly want to be in my apartment multiple times a week because they are selling the place. Ashley, specifically, is an abusive narcissist and goes out of her way to belittle tenets. They do not care about your schedule at all, they come in whenever they want, even multiple times in the same day. DO NOT RENT WITH ENIGMA!! They do not give a fuck about their residents at all and will not communicate with you about anything if something in the building goes wrong. I've lived at 1601 n farwell for 11 months and the elevator has broken 3 times and the management company has not once acknowledged it. If you try to reach out to Agana or Val who are the main point of contacts for the building, they will ignore you or give you an incompetent response with no solution. They are also extremely rude.
