I love coming to see Lori Shuttlesworth. She makes me feel very comfortable and is a caring person. She takes her time and is thoughtful
Business response:

Very professional.
Business response:
Hi, Con. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!
My experience was overall not very good and left me feeling ignored. This was a new patient appointment for a full skin check and I wanted to get more answers on a skin condition I’ve experienced for the last 13 years. I was very hesitant to go to the dermatologist because in the past I felt disregarded at another practice and didn’t have great experience either. Overall, the whole appointment felt rushed. I’m a registered nurse, so I could definitely feel the pressure of getting a patient in and out as fast as possible by b... read more

As a fellow healthcare professional, we know you understand the importance of a thorough and attentive assessment, and we are sincerely sorry that this visit felt rushed and unheard. That does not reflect the standard of care we strive to provide at Epiphany Dermatology. We take your concerns very seriously, and we are addressing this internally. Provider and staff are excellent. And kind. Front desk people too! However the billing team online or by phone, out of Texas, communications are very strick about billing, treating people like criminals and “you’re going to collections” and you don’t qualify for making payments etc. I feel very strongly that most people need help paying bills and willing to make payments should be recognized and treated better. Sometimes it’s a financial juggling act to pay all the medical bills.
The person removing my moles (Can’t remember her name)did not have very good patient demeanor. I was asked what I come in for and showed her the areas that I wanted removed. She immediately cut me off and I was told she didn’t believe this one was this or that and was told that I can’t have more than 2 at a time removed and tested. Instead of explaining the process I felt that I was talked down to and told the insurance would not cover it possibly and she could loose her license. The VA approved me for a year for continued v... read more

PA talked too fast and quietly for me to understand everything.
Good experience once I got into see the doctor. Appointment was 31 minutes late and had to wait. Should be more respectful of times.
Don't really know if I have started to make any progress with my skin issues. I don't have anything to really share about my health-care problems as far as thinking I can hope to get pain improvement. Especially in my legs, my lower extremities. The personal were very polite but was disappointed with the result. I was hoping for high expectations with my first visit at the clinic today. Many questions went unanswered and left me no better now than I was yesterday. Was this a waste of their time and my experience and expectat... read more

Appointment was 45 minutes late not happy
Business response:
Carol Lee, Thank you for your feedback. While we make it a point to have our assistants update patients when we are running behind, we recognize that an update doesn't replace your time. A 45-minute delay is not the experience we want for you. We will be restructuring our morning/afternoon blocks to ensure Laurie can remain thorough without causing these types of delays. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to your appointment please do not hesitate to contact our office. We would be happy to speak with you. -... read more
