I don’t often post reviews, but Dr. Douglas and her team have been wonderful for the last two years. My daughter was diagnosed with alopecia two years ago. We came to Dr Douglas scared, worried and confused. She was caring and took the time to explain the diagnosis. She fought tooth and nail to get medication approved for my daughter’s hair regrowth. I thank her for giving my daughter a normal childhood without dealing with hair loss. I have and will continue to recommend her!
Dr Douglas was relentless with getting to the bottom of my daughter’s skin issues, very personable and explained everything at a level where anyone could understand. If you need a dermatologist for your child, I would trust no one but Dr. Douglas!
Dr. Sue Ann Douglas deserves all 5 stars. My appointment was at 1:00 PM and was in a room with exactly by that time. I had laser treatment done and was out within 20 minutes. Dr. Douglas made sure I left with free sunscreen samples, provided clear after care instructions, and is very knowledgeable and personable.
I was disappointed with our visit to Dr. Douglas. She seemed rushed and didn’t take much time to explain things thoroughly, which left me feeling overwhelmed. She didn’t introduce herself to my 2-year-old or try to make him comfortable before starting the exam, and her abrupt approach—shining a light on his skin right away—scared him and made him cry. We have been seeing Dr Sue Ann Douglas several times and each time the waits have been extremely long. Well past 30 minutes from appointment time. Very disappointing for being a pediatric Dr. when you have to keep young ones on a schedule. Will be seeking another Dr. We like the Dr she is nice but lacking a level of professionalism.
