I rented a space in Feb. 3 months later my rent was raised 50%. I was told that they could do that legally because its was in the contract. But its was extortion because most people do not have access to a truck or movers or another space to store their things. I was not informed of this when I signed the contract. I am disabled and live on a tiny income so I had a difficult time trying to pay the rent increase.
