Great customer service, the gentleman that helped me made the process very easy. My unit was clean and dry when I opened the garage door and that made me feel at ease to store my things and helped me not worry about damage from dampness.
Do not put anything of value @extraspacestoragefortwayne. There is a mice infestation at the Newaygo Rd location. Traps with dead mice. Removed my items to find the mice had destroyed anything they could chew. We were never notified there was an issue near our unit. Local and corporate gave no reasoning for not notifying us and offered no assistance or refund.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are the most opportunistic, greedy, self serving organization I have encountered sintI was 21 years old and some a**hole driving by in a jeep offered to pull me out of a snow drift for a ridiculous amount of money. The minute you make a time commitment in their direction they will raise your rent by a ridiculous amount of money.
Rented a unit this past Saturday. Happy with customer service but not so happy with property so far. Went back Monday night to find a pile of clothing laying in front of my storage unit door that had a pack of cigarettes and lighters falling out of. Appeared that someone was living in hallway of unit, peed himself and striped naked and left it all lay. Smelled like pee really bad.
