Let me tell you something, if customer service were an Olympic sport, Monica would have taken home the gold, the silver, and the bronze all in one breath. From the moment I walked into Extra Space Storage, I was hit with a radiant beam of positivity, energy, and organizational wizardry that can only be described as Monica Magic™.
Austin was super helpful, and really went above and beyond to help me out. I've never had a storage place before where the manager really went out of their way to help me especially with my situation. So five stars for this place.

horrible customer service! They are very rude in the office. they constantly go up on prices without explanation and it's a hassle to get an explanation. I recommended a family member and they had a similar experience.

I don't even know where to start. I rented one unit from the location on South Congress and I was there for almost a year moved out in March paid in full through April. Never got a refund for moving out early. I just called to speak to Collin and he told me that I should've called and told them I was moving out so they could prorate my rent, then told him I was going to leave a review so he hung up So I called back and asked for a corporate number and he told me to go look it up and proceeded to hang up on me I called bac... read more

YOUR UNIT WILL BE BURGLARIZED. This place is an absolute joke. They only keep video record for 7 days! Thieves cut our locks off and they didn't notice or notify us, despite their claims that they do regular inspections! The useless staff are dishonest, lazy, and do not care about your property at all. Totally unprofessional, and incapable of security your valuables. Any unit in this facility could be compromised with a 20 dollar pawn shop saw. Ridiculous.

Kudos to Extra Space for continually going above and beyond to make using their storage a never ending nightmare. If you're considering renting from them, know with 100% certainty the rate you sign up with WILL be increased exponentially within 2 months. When you ask for an explanation they will not be able to give you one. Their elevators will rarely work. Their staff will rarely be available and even more rarely be able to help you. Super sketchy business. I would highly recommend you do not do business here. 24 reported thefts within the last 7 months when other local storage companies had less than 3. If they know you have some good stuff they'll make sure to take it. Complete inside job.
