I am very pleased with my experience at Dr. Perlman's office. I had an emergency and was welcomed in the office as a new patient immediately. It was an extremely scary incident but they were able to run all the tests to find the diagnosis that same day and schedule my surgery. I don't know what I'd do if they weren't so helpful.
Amazing! Excellent surgeon. Caring, kind, interested, doctor. For two years before meeting Dr. Weiss, and his removing my cataracts, and implanting lenses, I hardly got around by myself. I'm. Had been wearing eyeglasses since I was ten years old. Never thought that anything, or anybody, could change that. Even Dr. Weiss said I'd always need prescription glasses. Terrible! Had an appointment at 3:00 and was told it would be at least 90 minutes before we would even see the doctor. How is that remotely acceptable for a 5 year old. Doctor assistant is awful and just aloof to everything. Would never recommend this office to anyone who I valued their time.
office was well run. staff was friendly and accommodating. fees were reasonable. as for dr. weiss, the good: examination was unhurried and he spent time explaining his findings. plan of treatment was clear. the bad: bedside manner could have been better as he was a bit condescending and patronizing. more problematic, his history-taking was suspect. declared that some symptoms were due to an otc treatment and not the medical condition. had he asked, however, he would have learned that the symptoms at issue were present prior ... read more

Dear Anonymous, I sincerely appreciate your praise of our practice. We strive to ensure that all patients have a great experience when they visit our offices. It is important for both physician and patient to be as candid and clear as possible. To that extent, I make every effort to listen closely to the patient during the time we spend together. While at the same time being both informative and approachable . So I do regret that my examination approach was not to your liking during your visit.
Dr Weiner charges $60 for an Eye script (up from $40 last year) which he does anyways with a routine complete eye exam for a Medicare patient. One can get this script exam in many places for free. The fee is just not right.
I cannot recommend this practice, too too many negative reviews
This eye clinic wants 400.00 dollars to tell you if your procedure was successful or not!

Angel, Our practice never charges any fee for verify procedure results. However, we offer optional pre-surgery testing which is not covered by insurance. The results obtained from these tests assist us to obtain better results in cases where there may be issues which the tests are designed to reveal. Again, these are optional, but recommended. The tests and fees are explained in detail to the patient by either the doctor or our surgical coordinators. Most other practices offer similar options.
