This is a fun place that has some fun events. Thoroughly enjoyed the exotic animal races. So much fun for the family. Going out on Thanksgiving is also a good idea. Wear your best hat! Be aware that "fees" of 5 dollars are added to any admission price. Charging fees like this is annoying for me personally. Also, I would advise against prepaying for drinks to get them cheaper as those drinks are absolutely terrible. Advice: Between races walk across the street to the Seahorse Saloon for affordable and delicious drinks.
The food was actually pretty good! The waiter was so slow. Waiting 20 mins for new drinks and then told us he wanted cash tips! Really? Honestly thought he wasn’t good at all. The food runner outstanding!
This place is pretty cool. We went for the Weiner dog races and loved it!! The slots were cool but watching those little buddies run was probably one of the cutest things I've seen in a very long time. I've heard they do different events like that throughout the year too. They race ostriches and zebras too... I'd love to see that!
Loud from the customers wanting their bets to hit, but all in good fun, good fresh food, atmosphere awesome
I have only been for Jazz Fest but the grounds are well kept. Lots of options to get there. Within walking distance from the trolley. Food options in and around the venue.
