Applied for a loan. The last communication from the loan officer was that it was being sent to underwriting. A week and a half later I checked in as I'd heard nothing. I figured it was a no, but wanted to check, as I am also looking for a place to open up several accounts I'm moving from my former state. I went at 12:40 on Saturday, as I work from 9-6 p m-f. I was going to open an account, and they informed me that they cannot since they are closing soon. Now, at my work, if someone comes in before you close, even only one minute, you have to stay after and help that person. And you should, as a matter of decent customer service. Needless to say, fair winds has removed itself from all future dealings with me. The customer service is great at this branch. I've been using this Fairwinds branch since 2015 and always had very good customer service.
Teller deposited my deposit in someone else's account. My checks bounced. They corrected it, but not even an apology. Horrible service.
