Amazing ribs !!! Loved the rib tips and the spare ribs. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Different sauces like Old Hickory and Alabama White make the ribs even better.
The food was OK but not the best BBQ. I had better but it wasn’t terrible. The burnt ends my husband got were really juicy and weren’t too bad, but the brisket I got was so dry and had little to no flavor. The sides were decent. The baked beans were our favorite. I also enjoyed the slaw. The mac was a little bland and the bread on the burnt end sandwich was hard. We loved their own fountain drinks that they had. It was pretty cool. Christie was so amazing! She was so hospitable and welcoming for our first time in. My boyfriend and I had the Rib tip lunch special which was phenomenal, definitely will be coming back for my fix of soul food.
CALLING ALL FAT BOYZ & GURLZ With gratitude I write this review. November 2023 I catered food from Fat Boyz Barbecue for an event. With 24hrs in advance, everything was right on time! Freshly made to order. Packed so neatly. Every guest was delighted! There were no leftovers! Everyone had 2nd plates, plates to go, and compliments that go beyond. Thank you to the owners and staff! Been wanting to come here for years and it didn’t disappoint. Food was great! Candies yams are like dessert! Mac n cheese was cheesy with a good smoke flavor—something different. Collards were not too salty. Brisket burger wasn’t dry and had a lot of flavor—you could tell it was fresh and seasoned right! Of course Mama is the hostess with the mostest! Will def be back!
