First Capital does not respond to requests from consumers regarding their ethics. They post support for marginalized groups but do not respond, or apologize, when their actions cause direct pain to those groups. Not a company that should be supported as their bottom line trumps ethics and human rights.

Disgusting that you have the rainbow flag as your profile pic, but you rent to such a homophobic company like Chick Fil A. You are all a bunch of hypocrites, Canada has no room for company’s that support hate, look at yourselves. You’re apart of the problem 🤦🏽♂️
Why are you renting to Chick fil A when they have a horrible history of homophobia? Please remove the flag from your logo - that’s insulting

From the perspective of the Small Business owner - First Capital isn't flexible in their terms, specifically regarding sidewalk signage. They hide behind policy and rhetoric. They can build a great looking community but they are a far cry from being an advocate for the success of Small Business owners. I am happy to update this review with much more positive feedback if FC is willing to advocate for the success of Small Business. How? A little creative collaboration to allow Small Business owners to use sidewalk signage.
