Beware amateur operators, locked my dog up for 8 hours no reason. Merged with Carlton vet, lost all care factor. Picked up my dog records, will never use again! Customer service 0 stars

RecommendedThankyou to all the lovely staff at Fitroy vets for their kindness. The way they looked after my old cat was amazing and when she passed recently this week, i recieved flowers. So lovely Thankyou.
I will never ever go to this vet surgery again. I have been here twice and both times they were terrible. The first time I went in to have my dog’s paw looked at because he kept licking it and he was creating a bare patch of skin. The vet looked at it and said it didn’t look inflamed (I had thought the same thing) and that I should just wrap a sock over his paw for a few days which would give it time to clear up. Ever since they moved to their new site the service has gone down hill and prices have increased. They seem to upsell where possible and the quality is not what it used to be. The vet nurses are still great. The vets however vary in quality and our last few visits were disappointing. Whilst we have enjoyed good service over the last several years we are now looking for another vet clinic.
