Dr Shetty recently did both of my eyes for cataracts by laser and I chose to have the multi focal lense. It was the best choice I have made and I wouldn’t have done it with any other eye surgeon. He is detailed, professional and has a great staff and clean office.

I am forever grateful that my local opthalmologist referred me to Dr. Shetty to treat my glaucoma. He is very thorough and explains my progress at every visit. He seems to listen carefully to what I say to him. I feel that I am in the care of the best eye physician for my situation.
I have seen Dr. Shetty a few times and he is always wonderful. He explains things throughly and is a specialist in his field. I have always had a great experience at his offices. I look forward to the day I can see without glasses!

I consider Dr. Shetty an excellent eye specialist. He was recommended to me when I moved to Jacksonville 4 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. I have glaucoma in both eyes. I have been very pleased with his care and concern.
Nice guy - young and not sure of diagnosis
Had both eyes operated on to remove cataracts and insert lens. Dr. Shetty ALWAYS operates on more than one patient at a time. I have left a review on this doctor previously, only to have it removed. Also, I know of three other patients who left less than favorable reviews for this man and they were also removed. Let's face it; for a doctor who performs hundreds (his number) of surgeries each year and only has twenty-nine reviews, something is incorrect. Stay away from this man, period.

Dr. Shetty has performed three surgeries on my eyes. All have had good outcomes. He came highly recommended by my ophthalmologist. BUT the wait time in his office is always two hours. I see Dr. Shetty about five minutes but spend two hours in his office at each appointment. If you go to his practice, be prepared to spend two hours.
