The care is excellent, but the administration is not. If you've ever been to any vet appointment, you know you are at minimum waiting 10-15 minutes for them to be ready for you. Nobody needs to tell you this but civilized society just accepts there's a little delay. However, if you give Florissant Animal Hospital the courtesy of letting them know you'll be 10 minutes late when you are already en route, they'll gladly put you on hold and cancel you for doing the favor of being respectful of their time. RecommendedAfter 2 and 1/2 years of medication to treat seizures in our 14 year old pit mix big baby Lucy, my 16 year old daughter and I spent a long emotional night with her uneasiness and pain along with seizures starting every hour or two to less than 10 minutes apart. We knew what our decision had to be for Lucy and her quality of life. RecommendedJust sharing my experience due to the false reviews being shared. I brought my dog in due to him acting strange with his eye. Turned out he had gotten some type of bacteria in his eye causing it to eat away at his eyeball. They gave my dog a shot and some pills to take for a certain amount of days and he was back to his normal self with NO damage done to his eye! I’m thankful for them.

Very insensitive staff members
They give you deceased pets pack in trash bags.
Gave a woman her deceased dog in a trash bag! Don’t come here.
Did not Diagnose my Dog Correctly, took their time in treating him. After he Died offers no Support, had Questions on his Death, would not call me back, when Finally did call me back Danced around my Questions on Why he Died. He was only 3 years old. They Will Never Treat a dog of mine Ever again. Simple Blood Test would have helped.
They should care about all animals..Not just the perfect ones. And they should change their site that says they will work with your troubled pets. Cause deep down they do not care at all on how they do your pet or you. At the end of the day. And they will send you mixed messages and lead you on. Some actually lied to my face. Just to be safe. We live in Chesterfield and drove over half an hour because the reviews were so high and we thought this a better choice than the dozen of vets we passed from our house to this location. When we arrived, I was not greeted at the window. Once I finally received my new client paperwork, no one was at the window to accept the paperwork.
