With nearly 20 years experience in the practice of Internal Medicine, Dr. G. Douglas Say has touched many lives in his medical career. A native of Baton Rouge, Dr. Say attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and completed his B.S. there in 1989. He then earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport in 1993 and performed his residency in Internal Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, completing his program in 1996. Entering private practice in Baton Rouge, Dr. G. Douglas Say joined the Baton Rouge Clinic family of physicians in the fall of 2008. I met Dr. Say several years ago and even after he moved his practiced I had my records follow him. He is a gentle caring doctor who truly cares about his patients. He does his best to work you in or ask that you go to the Baton Rouge Clinic Urgent Care if he cannot see you or you can see one of his associates.

As is ALWAYS the case, Dr. Say is friendly, courteous and ATTENTIVE . He listens with INTEREST to whatever you have to say during that visit. He considers family history when making a diagnosis and he is ALWAYS prompt in returning answers to written questions posed over the patient portal.
