From the minute I met Mike, I knew he understood my needs in providing me an estimate for our move which was slightly less than a major competitor, but provided for a move over a two day period rather than a marathon one-day event. We own a lot of heavy and valuable furniture pieces, and Mike assured me we would receive "white glove" service. We had a great experience with Galt Moving this past weekend. They were on time, very friendly and definitely hard workers. We had a lot of big heavy furniture and lots of stairs to climb up and down. They took down and set up furniture which was one less thing we had to do. We had a family emergency right at the end and had to take one of our kids to the ER. They waited an extra half hour for my mom to drive to our house to pay them. Thank Galt Moving!

Daniel, Jeff, Brad, and Joe were excellent to work with. They showed up on time, walked the house and began preparing furniture and moving the home contents. They were constantly busy and understood how to take care of what they were moving.

I was really excited to work with this company after hearing all the great reviews and having them recommended by family. Boy was I sure in for a surprise! First off, they destroyed my 65" plasma tv, patio chair covers, stuck their unclean hands in my ice chest, never wore masks, and last but not least....they helped themselves to my cell phone on their way out. The movers were on time and were very nice. To my dismay, they damaged our desk, bedroom set, crickpot and our bar. I did see the desk was all scratched and brought it to their attention and was told to fill out the insurance claim form. As I unpacked I found the other damages. I did call Galt to let them know personally and was apologized to and told to fill out the insurance claim form. We will see what happens.......

This company is a joke and for a family company has no family values. My move was problematic from the beginning, they were late, forgot mattress bags for protection and did damage to my home I was moving out of. They damaged many of my items during the move. Two days after moving into my new home I had a very close family member pass away and I had to leave immediately and travel. I was out of town for two weeks to handle the death. I had Galt Moving complete a move for me in August 2017. I had used them once before (different mover guys) and they were wonderful. This time around, I had three guys--one of whom did all the moving while one stayed primarily upstairs packing and the other one stayed in the truck. I specifically asked that care be taken with three very special artist-made pieces of furniture, and since the one guy was moving them, two of them wound up with scratches.
