I was told by the dentist ( who I have never met before), not Dr. Yates, if I wasn't going to get the work they recommended done at their office NOT to come back to their office for future cleanings. WOW! now that's a way to start a relationship with a potential patient. Needless to say I can find another Dentist office who will clean my teeth, and not try to force me to have work done, but rather build trust and be there when I am ready to get work done. Ms. Dentist, your bed side manner needs polishing.
I went in for a cleaning, or periodontal maintenance, as it is called, yesterday. I had previously had Rachel, who was fantastic, but has sadly moved on to another career. This time, I believe the hygienist's name was Monica. She was pleasant enough but very slow and would frequently stop her work to talk, instead of multi-tasking. I called the office for mine and my boyfriends appointments to make sure that our insurance would cover. We were both told that we were both in network. (We have 2 different insurance companies) After our visit, we were told we were not in network and both had substantial bills. I have never paid that much for a teeth cleaning in my life. I wasn’t happy with my OTHER local dentist office. My PREVIOUS hygienist just had no personality and I felt she didn’t do a thorough job. Also every time I had a check up the dentist told me I needed so much work, some of which I did. Costing me thousands!
